Travel Tips
Packing light!
One of the most overlooked but important parts of traveling is packing!
I have to say these bags have saved me! I rarely do a checked bag for my sanity. These are great carry-ons that have served me well not only locally, and for road trips, but also US, and International travel. Be sure to get some packing cubes too. I have always given my kids a cube and let them pack what fits.
Packing Cubes
Worth it!
You're going to want these for all your trips. Even camping or day trips they are super helpful. There are a ton of different types, so really it is your call what you are looking for.

Google Flights/Tuesdays!
A travelers best friend.
Go to https://www.google.com/flights to search for flights. The nice thing about Google flights is it allows you to track flight prices via your email! I typically enter in a few dates and track them all. When I see it go down enough I jump. They will send you an alert each price change - good and bad.
Also always remember- Tuesdays are the best days to buy flight tickets. Period. Has been for as long as I can remember.
Put in your dates, pick a flight, then hit that track prices button!
You can look at the price graph if your dates are flexible!
It also allows for you to add for all available flights that day!
Dr. Pepper and Peanut Butter
This one is for those out of country trips.
There are many great things about traveling abroad and so much to learn, and do, and taste! That said, if you have a favorite can't live without drink or food you will likely want to bring it. I cannot tell you had badly I missed Dr Pepper in Europe. I was happy crying when I saw it in France on a trip finally.
Also peanut butter (And Reeses!) is an American thing. I paid approx $12 USD for a little jar of peanut butter for PB & J sandwiches for my kids. Nutella is the big thing there which makes for an awkward sandwich but is great to eat on any and every fruit.
Point being, don't assume the same items are available where you're going. Check out the local grocery stores online first. This even goes for things like diapers and wipes. I literally has a full suitcase of diapers and wipes as my little one had really sensitive skin and I knew the brand was not available where we were going.
Need help in finding out if products are available? Send me an email anytime! I'd be glad to research for you!
